hiring/training, performance evaluation, dealing with problem employees, styles of
supervision, staff mediation, and motivation tips.
• Native Council/Board Leadership-“Making First Tracks”
Knowledge and skills enhancement in visioning, strategic planning, taking charge,
directing, and empowering people. Training topics include styles of leadership,
traditional native leadership values, strategic thinking, communication, techniques
of motivation, modeling/mentoring, facilitation/public speaking, proactive power,
how to conduct a meeting, micro-managing don’ts, building relationships, and spirituality.
